Delete your MeetGO account

This page concerns the MeetGO mobile app and the account on meetgo.pl, published by Adrian Kemski AmbitioKod. You can delete your account in three ways. You do not need the app installed.

Delete your account on the website

Option 1: on meetgo.pl

  1. Log in on meetgo.pl with your e-mail and password or with Google.
  2. Open "Account" in the page header.
  3. Confirm that you understand the deletion is irreversible and type your account's e-mail address. If the account has a password, enter it.
  4. Click "Delete account permanently". We delete the account and its data immediately and send a confirmation to the account's address.

Option 2: in the app

  1. Open the MeetGO app and log in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
  3. Confirm. If the account has a password, the app will ask for it. The account and its data are deleted with no further steps.

Option 3: by e-mail (without logging in)

  1. Send an e-mail from the address the account was created with to privacy@meetgo.pl with the subject "Delete account".
  2. We will reply to the account's address asking you to confirm, to make sure the request comes from you.
  3. After confirmation we delete the account within 30 days and send you a confirmation.

When deletion on the website and in the app is on hold

If reports about your account are awaiting review, or the account has been blocked, you cannot delete it on the website or in the app. In that case, write to privacy@meetgo.pl.

What is deleted

  • profile (name, e-mail, password, date of birth, gender, district, interests, description),
  • profile photo,
  • messages and conversations,
  • proposals and meeting history, ratings, friendships,
  • device tokens for push notifications,
  • the link to your Google account, if you signed in with Google.

What we keep and for how long

  • reports about other users and moderation decisions – 12 months after review (Digital Services Act obligation), with your identifier anonymised,
  • anonymised app usage statistics that cannot be linked to you,
  • data needed to defend against claims – until limitation periods expire.

Details are in the Privacy policy. Deleting the account is irreversible; if you only want to disappear from matches, turn off profile visibility in settings.
